Matthew Rodich is an illustrator and fine artist originating from the rural woods of Central Pennsylvania. Currently, he is working towards receiving his BFA in Illustration from Montserrat College of Art. He is set to graduate in December 2017. His mind churns with folklore, outlandish conspiracy theories, symbols, taxidermy, nautical flags, cults, awkward interactions on the subway, and lobsters. These fascinations inspire him to craft imaginary characters in surreal and hallucinogenic acrylic paintings. Rodich's work is a mix of surrealism, symbolism and folk art, and often focuses on editorial and fine art applications. His current work illustrates accounts of the paranormal and unusual, found in American folklore, and the unorthodox nature of conspiracy theories.
His work has been displayed in Italy, Los Angeles, and Beverly, Massachusetts.
